How far are the attractions?

Everything from Florence to Lincoln City is within 30 to 45 minutes. Newport, which has the Oregon Coast Aquarium, Yaquina Head Lighthouse, Bayfront and Nye Beach restaurants and shopping is 10 miles north.

What about the views?

Some of the best tide pools on the coast are located just across the highway. Beautiful sunsets can be seen from your site or within a short (2-5 minute) walk.

Historic Newport Bayfront:

  • Walk the boardwalk; watch/hear the sea lions on the jettys
  • Whale watching cruises
  • Arrange a charter trip to go bottom fishing
  • Fishing and crabbing off the public fishing docks or the jetty
  • Life-size mural of Humpback Whales, Wyland’s Whaling Wall
  • Count the flavors of saltwater taffy at Aunt Belinda’s Candies (and get a free sample!)
  • Ripley’s Believe it of Not! and Wax Works Museum at Mariner’s Square

Historic Oceanfront Nye Beach:
